はじめに
こんにちは植木和樹です。いよいよAmazon Linuxの新しいAMIバージョン 2015.03 がリリースされました。
リリースノートを読んでいたところ、今回もちょっと気になるパッケージがありました。
Fresh packages ： nethack-3.4.3-32.3 ：
Unixユーザーにはお馴染みのRPGがAmazon Linuxで遊べる！ということで早速プレイしてみました。
インストールと遊び方
インストール
NetHackのインストールは簡単です。yumコマンド一発でインストールできます。
$ sudo yum install nethack -y遊び方
早速プレイしてみましょう。起動するにはnethackコマンドを実行します。
$ nethack種族や職業などを選択します。下記画面でyを入力すると自動でキャラクターを作成してくれます。

Shall I pick a character's race, role, gender and alignment for you? [ynq]キャラクターが作成されると、アスキー文字で描かれたゲーム画面が表示されます。@がプレイヤーキャラです。なんだかファンタジーっぽいプロローグですね！ 画面下には所持金やHPなどのステータスも表示されています。

Dlvl:1 $:106 HP:17(20) Pw:8(8) AC:3 Exp:2セーブはSで保存できます。ゲームが終了しますので、続きからプレイした場合は再度nethackコマンドを実行しましょう。

NetHackについては下記のサイトを参照してください。最初のうちは日本語で書かれたコマンド一覧ページを横に開きながら進めるといいと思います。
