I'm Chihiro Ishikawa, joining the AI Business Division from January 2026.
I'm currently a fourth-year university student and will be working at Classmethod as a student intern.

Graduation thesis

Since I don't have much career experience, I'll briefly introduce the graduation thesis I'm currently working on.
I'm researching the topic "Stock Price Movement Prediction from News Text Using Natural Language Processing Techniques."
Since I created the dataset myself, I haven't been able to develop an effective model yet...
I want to gain experiences during this internship that will benefit my future master's thesis.

Hobbies

Food

I love eating so much that I'm already thinking about what to have for dinner while eating lunch.
I also enjoy alcohol, so when I travel, I always buy local sake to enjoy after returning home.

Exercise

I'm not particularly good at sports, but I refresh my mind by moving my body!
Since I love eating too much, it's partly for weight management, but recently I've been into running and going to the gym whenever I have some free time. People around me think I have ADHD because of my activity level.

Travel

I love traveling, and recently visited Ayers Rock in Australia!
I usually visit various cities, but this was my first time directly experiencing nature, and I felt the greatness of Earth.

Finally

While I don't have much technical skill, I'm confident in my ability to absorb new information.
I may be a burden at first, but I look forward to working with you all.
