I have joined the AI Integration Department as an intern, I'm Shimizu!

Self-introduction

Nice to meet you! I'm Shimizu, and I joined the Generative AI Integration Department as an intern from February 2026.
I'm currently a second-year university student. I'm from Osaka.

Background

In my university club activities, I've been developing using no-code tools. There, I had the opportunity to work with AWS, which sparked my interest in cloud computing and ultimately in Classmethod.

Hobbies

• Mahjong
  

I enjoy both playing and watching it. I have a mahjong table at home, so whenever I have free time, I play mahjong with my friends. Even as AI continues to develop, in mahjong, AI's choices aren't absolute, so I think it will remain enjoyable for quite some time.

• Gaming

Mainly Pokémon. I'm seriously into competitive battles. I also play MMOs and other games.

Finally

Lastly, I've joined this team as an intern.

While I still lack professional experience and have many technical areas to improve in, I'm very excited to learn in this environment full of amazing engineers.

First and foremost, I want to focus all my energy on the tasks at hand so I can become a valuable team member as quickly as possible. I look forward to working with all of you!
