Self-introduction

My name is Miori Takeguchi, and I joined the AI Business Division in April 2026!
Originally, I studied information and communication engineering at a technical college, and from there worked for one year as an RPA engineer in manufacturing, focusing on business efficiency.
Regarding technical learning, since I've primarily focused on personal development like creating apps as a hobby, I'm joining almost as a complete beginner in terms of career.
Though I'm a novice who doesn't know left from right, I prefer to positively reframe it as being eager to learn, and I intend to grow day by day.
I'll do my best to become a valuable team member as quickly as possible!

Hobbies

I have many hobbies including listening to music/karaoke/creating illustrations/TRPG/analog & digital games/app development/Twitter, etc.
Recently, with several excellent exhibitions happening nearby, I've come to think "Impressionist paintings are... wonderful!" and have become obsessed with visiting art museums. Seeing good art makes me want to create my own.
I was born surrounded by subculture hobbies such as TRPG and other analog games, digital games, anime, manga, and Twitter, and was raised with subculture as my lullaby.
While I don't mind desk work at all, my excessive stillness has led to problems with my neck, shoulders, back, and head—basically everything that can go wrong due to lifestyle habits—so I've been desperately trying to develop exercise habits by going to the gym.
I also enjoy using my voice, whether it's casual conversation or karaoke.

Having been raised with the hope that I'd be curious, I love learning new things. While calling myself a pure otaku might not sound great, having a wide range of interests is definitely an advantage in life!

Why I chose Classmethod

While exploring various sessions and booths at AWS Japan Summit 2025, I was amazed by the latest technologies thinking "Technology is awesome!" and wanted to learn more and utilize these technologies myself.
During this time, I learned about Classmethod at the same event, and after participating in study sessions, DevelopersIO, Imperial Palace runs and other events, I was drawn to the corporate culture that loves technology and continues to take on challenges, which led to my decision to join.
Since I heard Classmethod encourages event participation, I'm thinking of attending overseas events like AWS re:Invent as well (though I still have significant concerns about my English)!

What I'm most excited about right now

I want to learn about cutting-edge thinking and technologies by joining various projects!
Though I'm still a beginner, I want to accumulate knowledge little by little each day and become someone who can proudly call themselves a skilled engineer.

Also, I've heard that internal club activities are popular at Classmethod, so I'm looking forward to experiencing various people's hobbies and interests.
Although I think that if I develop any more hobbies, even splitting into eight wouldn't be enough, I want to explore with the mindset that you can never have too many hobbies, without overthinking it.

Finally

My enthusiasm is to continue learning day by day, leveraging my great fortune to have been born in an era where I can easily consult with AI—a highly knowledgeable teacher with diverse interests—and my innate otaku nature, or rather, curiosity.
I also want to write articles about the stumbling blocks and discoveries that only a beginner like me can currently describe!
