Background

I've lived through a path of engineering → bio → AI. I've pursued my studies and research following what interested me, and now I love AI!
I obtained a PhD in biology, but lately I've been concerned about not being able to make much use of it.

Why Classmethod?

I've long relied on DeveloperIO and Zenn, and had the impression that the company has high technical skills and is active in sharing information. After talking with people inside the company, this impression was further strengthened.
Also, a major factor was their interest in my background of "doing not just research and development, but also infrastructure building, app development, and model development."
In addition, after hearing about the future vision for the AI field, I genuinely thought it sounded interesting.
When jumping into a new environment, I wanted a place where I could leverage my past experiences while taking on challenges in a broader field. That's why I decided to join.

Excitement

I'm looking forward to working in the AI field while collaborating with various people inside and outside the company.
Since I was doing R&D in isolation, I'm excited about the prospect of working together with company members, partners, and customers to think about "what we should create" and "how to continue delivering value." Being alone is lonely...
While I certainly love technology itself, I hope to create interesting things by considering how it's actually used within business operations and systems.

Contribution

With my experience in conducting R&D from start to finish, I can think deeply about not just researching AI models but also how to implement them, how to operate them, and how to ensure they continue to deliver value.
I want to contribute by not just creating systems using AI, but by bringing them to a state where they continuously provide value. I'll work hard to keep up with technology and produce solid output to be an asset to the team!

Hobbies

Music, photography, and travel!
I enjoy both listening to and playing music. I have experience playing drums, so I'd like to form a band and perform live somewhere.
For photography, I mostly take landscapes. I recently purchased a DSLR camera (SIGMA BF), so I usually carry it with me in my private time. Along with that, I've come to enjoy traveling. I've been abroad quite a bit for academic conferences, so it would be nice to revisit some of the places I liked.
