[Awaited] New AWS Security Hub can now be lined up in the favorites bar

Everyone, are you making use of the AWS favorites bar? (greetings)

It's finally here! You can now place the new AWS Security Hub icon in your favorites bar!

Introduction

Recently, the service that was previously called AWS Security Hub has been renamed to AWS Security Hub CSPM.

And a new AWS Security Hub has been born, replacing the name. Please see below for details.

Well, the name change is fine, but there was a bit of an issue with the favorites bar functionality.

At Initial Release

This is completely from my memory so I might be wrong, but when the new AWS Security Hub was initially released, clicking the AWS Security Hub icon in the favorites bar would take you to the new AWS Security Hub.

This is correct in a sense, but this was the icon we had been using to access what is now AWS Security Hub CSPM. That's troublesome, right?

I also provided feedback asking them to revert to the original behavior.

After a while, it did revert back, but then there was a period where there was no icon to access the new AWS Security Hub.

It's Changed

When I opened the management console just now, the icon name had changed to AWS Security Hub CSPM.

So I thought, could it be...? I checked the search bar.

Both can be accessed from here and added to favorites!!!

So I immediately added it. This is what the text looks like when hovering:

Note that I usually display icons only, so I ended up with identical icons next to each other.

I wonder if it will change someday?
