Hello, this is Usuda.
Everyone, are you celebrating Halloween? (greeting)
Apparently Kiro is running a hackathon called Kiroween.
I took a quick look, and what caught my attention even more is Kiro's Halloween-themed site!!!!!!!!! So cuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Kiro's Halloween-themed site
Here it is.
Kiro: Move beyond AI coding to agentic engineering
I don't know how long it will stay Halloween-themed. I recommend going to see it right now.
You can view it on both PC and smartphone! But the PC version has slightly more fun elements, so I recommend the PC!
The Kiro logo in the upper left moves when you hover over it! So cute!
Behavior analysis
From here, let's use our adult powers to analyze the Halloween-themed site.
It looks like there are the following four fun features.
- The logo in the upper left changes into 6 different patterns
- Kiro peeks out from the side of the demo screen
- Kiro follows the cursor within the demo screen
- On pages other than the top page, such as the pricing page, a parade starts when you scroll or press the space key
There are so many! Let's check them one by one.
Halloween-themed logo
After you open the page and wait a while, the logo switches to a Halloween version. There are 6 types in total!
- Skeleton
- Frankenstein
- Mummy
- Cat?
- Dracula
- Witch
Nice!
As I did earlier, they move when you hover over them!
You can see it on a smartphone too!
Beside the demo screen
They come out like this, and retreat when you get close!
They appear in various types too!
On a smartphone, it appeared at the top!
Mouse cursor on the demo screen
They follow you like this.
There are various collaborations with the ones beside the screen.
Try finding different combinations!
It probably doesn't work on smartphones.
Parade that appears when you scroll
On pages other than the top page, such as the pricing page, the 6 types of Kiro seem to parade as you scroll.
Not only by scrolling, but if you mash the space key a lot of them come out, so the one above was filled with them that way!
Even without being able to press the space key, I was able to make them appear by scrolling on a smartphone.
Let's join the Kiroween hackathon
Kiro's Halloween-themed site is great, but aside from that, Kiro's traditional Halloween hackathon "Kiroween 2026" is being held.
It runs until December 4, which is quite long!
The theme is "Build something wicked," and the first-place prize is $30,000. There are various other prizes too, but another good point is that even just participating gets you 4,000 free Kiro credits!
4,000 credits equals 4 months of Kiro's Pro plan, which is about $160 worth.
Be sure to give it a try!
Summary
Kiro is cute!
Go check out the site while you can!
