The solution

Please consider using AWS Budgets.

Cloud Cost And Usage Budgets - AWS Budgets - AWS

Set your preferred budget period to daily, monthly, quarterly, or annually, and create specific budget limits.

When creating a budget in AWS Budgets, please select "Daily" in the Period section and set the budget amount (threshold).

In addition to daily settings, AWS Budgets also allows you to set budgets on an annual, quarterly, or monthly basis.
Please set the interval and threshold as needed.

Creating a cost budget - AWS Cost Management

Under Set budget amount, for Period, choose how often you want the budget to reset the actual and forecasted spend. Select Daily for every day, Monthly for every month, Quarterly for every three months, or Annually for every year.
