インスタンスタイプ変更時に、Elastic Network Adapter (ENA) は変更されますか

 困っていることEC2 インスタンスタイプの変更を考えています。

インスタンスタイプを変更すると、Elastic Network Adapter（ENA）は別のデバイスとして扱われてしまうのか教えてください。
 どう対応すればいいの?はい、インスタンスタイプ変更に伴い、OS 上では ENA が 「別のネットワークアダプタ」 として認識される場合があります。

ドライバーのネットワークアダプターを別のネットワークアダプターに切り替えると、オペレーティングシステムが新しいアダプターを作成したときに、ネットワークアダプターの設定がリセットされます。
 確認してみた



今回、Windows Server 2019 を用いて実際に動作を確認したところ、以下の検証結果でした。

※ m5.large → m6i.xlarge のケース

本検証では、#2 として新規に Amazon Elastic Network Adapte が作られる挙動を確認しました。

そのため、事前にテスト環境などでの検証や、ロールバックできるような準備をお勧めします。
