Last weekend, our team embarked on a short trip from Da Nang to Hue – the ancient capital rich in history and culture. This was not only an opportunity to relax but also a chance to strengthen our team spirit and explore the unique heritage values of Vietnam.

Discovering the Heritage of Hue

We started our journey early from Da Nang and after a comfortable two-hour ride, we reached our first stop, An Dinh Palace. This architectural masterpiece blends European and traditional Hue styles and was once the residence of Emperor Bao Dai. The palace, with its intricate designs and historical significance, offered a glimpse into the royal past of Vietnam.

After that, we enjoyed a delicious lunch featuring banh uot thit nuong (steamed rice rolls with grilled pork) and bun thit nuong (grilled pork vermicelli) at a local eatery on Kim Long Street. The flavorful dishes, with their distinctive Hue taste, delighted everyone.

Embracing Nature and Returning Home

Early in the morning, we started our day with bun bo Hue (Hue-style beef noodle soup), one of the city’s signature dishes. We then headed to Vong Canh Hill, a scenic spot offering a panoramic view of Hue City and the poetic Perfume River.

Next, we visited AEON MALL Hue, a modern shopping center designed with Japanese influences. This place is not only a shopping hub but also offers diverse dining and entertainment options to cater to everyone’s needs. The food court here serves a wide range of dishes, from Japanese specialties to local delicacies, while the entertainment areas provide the perfect place to unwind before heading back to Da Nang.

The ancient capital holds not only invaluable heritage but also captivates the heart with the poetic and romantic charm of the Perfume River and Ngu Mountain. Just like in our profession as Software Engineers, where we embrace continuous learning, innovation, and adaptability, this trip reflected our core values—exploration, knowledge-sharing, and growth.

We are young, we dare to discover, and we are not afraid to embrace changes for the better. This journey was not just about sightseeing, but about reinforcing our team's strength, curiosity, and shared passion for new experiences—whether in technology or in life!
