クラスメソッド・ヨーロッパのソーシャルコントリビューションプログラムでは、社員が任意の個人や組織の活動を支援することができます。
今年度私からは、昨年と同じく首都圏若者サポートネットワークへ約15万円の寄付を行いました。
首都圏若者サポートネットワークとは
養護施設や里親などの下で育ち、18歳前後で公的な支援を失った若者たちをサポートする日本の組織です。
若者たちに伴走型の支援をするために、以下の4つの事業を行っています。
- 基金造成 - 若者おうえん基金（クラウドファンディング等）
- 伴走者への助成金給付
- 各支援団体へ助成金を給付することで、当事者への伴走型支援（繋がり続けるための支援）を提供します。
- 就労マッチング・キャリア支援
- 調査研究・政策への提言

首都圏から全国展開へ
基金の規模の都合から、これまでの対象は首都圏に限られていましたが、今年度から全国展開に向けて、さらに九州（沖縄含む）エリア、広島・岡山エリア、山陰エリアの3地域への助成を開始する予定です。
首都圏で培ってきたノウハウやネットワークも生かしながら、地域内の活動団体同士による横のつながりを強化したり、行政への働きかけをおこなったりすることなどによって、ケアリーバーをはじめさまざまな困難を抱えて生きる子ども・若者たちをよりスムーズに支援できる環境を整えていくことも、地域サポートネットワークが担う重要な役割と考えています。
各助成先団体から若者たちへの食糧支援、進学・居住の初期費用、就業体験として活用されるとのことです。

彼らの生きづらさを映画で知る
また今年は、『REALVOICE』というドキュメンタリー映画が制作され、全国各地での上映会とトークイベントが開催されました。（キャンペーン詳細）
作品では、総勢40名を越える虐待を受けた経験をもつ若者たちのにより、生々しい体験が語られています。

Thanks to Classmethod Europe's Social Contribution Program, I’m excited to announce that I've once again made a meaningful contribution of 1,000 Euros to Wakamono Support Network (Youth Supporting Network) this year.
The Japanese organization dedicates to supporting young people who grew up in foster care.
About Wakamono Support Network
Wakamono Support Network supports young people who have grown up in social foster homes or with foster parents, and lost public assistance around the age of 18.
In their mission to provide continuous assistance to such young individuals, the organization operates four key initiatives:
- Fundraising incl. crowdfunding campaigns (”Youth Support Fund”)
- Grants to “Companions” (support organizations), which provide tailored and continuous support to young individuals on their behalf
- Employment matching and career support
- Research and advocacy for national policies

Why I Chose This Cause
The choice to support Wakamono Support Network stems from its remarkable expansion from the Tokyo Metropolitan area to three additional regions in Japan this year.
To achieve this expansion, a crowdfunding was launched and 93% of the target amount was attained. More details on the campaign and outcomes can be found below:

In their commitment to raising awareness, the organization also produced a documentary film titled "REALVOICE" and organized campaign events throughout the year. This impactful film features the real stories of over 40 young individuals who have faced abuse.
The documentary is available on YouTube with English subtitles, providing a compelling glimpse into the real challenges faced by these resilient young individuals.
